Nature Neighbours
Our Nature Neighbours project aims to strengthen people’s connection with nature and provide opportunities for communities to experience the benefits of nature on their doorstep.
The project seeks to restore and enhance nature in and around communities by creating and restoring species-rich meadows, ponds, hedgerows, and woodland, especially in areas with limited access to nature. We also run events and activities to engage local communities, raise awareness of biodiversity, and encourage long-term stewardship of these spaces.
We facilitate a number of training and engagement opportunities to help take action for nature in the Vale.
