Heritage Coast Vale Nature Partnership

Nature Recovery Action Plan

The Nature Recovery Action Plan (NRAP) for the Vale of Glamorgan has been developed to provide a framework for anyone delivering actions to conserve, protect and enhance nature in the Vale. Our NRAP focuses on 6 broad habitat types including Woodland, Freshwater, Grassland, Coastal, Agriculture and Urban. A range of actions have been identified to support nature’s recovery in the Vale.

  • Core Actions apply to all habitats across the Vale.

  • Habitat-specific actions have been identified for each habitat type.

  • Actions for groups and organisations

Our Objectives

The 5 objectives of the Nature Recovery Action Plan (NRAP) invite partners to work together to help nature. The Vale Nature Partnership worked together to develop the Vale NRAP. We will use the plan to guide our partners in setting their priorities for action.
